As I was saying...

So I finally finished the Hunger Games last night! And let me just say, I was thoroughly impressed with it! At first I was super questionable with reading it, because as my friend was describing it to me-I just couldn't get over how morbid the whole thought of it was! But upon further inspection, I ended up falling in love with the characters and feel that she did an amazing job with the story. :) So if you haven't read it yet, or you were questionable about it like I was, I give it a 2 thumbs up for sure!

And as for today, I finished addressing all of my Christmas cards! Hopefully we can swing by and pick up some stamps (because there are 40 of them...) and send them out asap! I want everyone to get them by Christmas! I don't know how this month has gotten away from me! Its already the 15th! Whoops! And hopefully tonight, I can get through the whole movie, How the Grinch stole Christmas before falling asleep in my husbands arms. :)

PS. Its Ice Cream Thursday today, because my boss deemed it so. Yum!

Anywyas... my trip was fabulous! I had such a great time visiting, but as always vaca's like that are always shorter than you wish them to be. lol

I met my foster sister Jas-and she's pretty rad! Im sad that i dont get to talk to her all the time, but i know shes in good hands with these five! There great to begin with, let alone when you add in all of these other calculations.

Other than that, Tday was good! The food as usual is always amazing. I can never get enough of them sweet potatoes! YUM! Im just sad that i didnt get to spend our first thanksgiving as a married couple together!

So i started reading this amazing book series called the Hunger Games. I cant believe it took me this long to jump on the band wagon! But now that i am fully seating and riding along, I LOVE IT! lol Im about 100 pages into the final one. Ill be sad that its over with for sure, BUT if it ends that must mean that they beat the Capital wich i am gung ho for! haha

Anyways, since then my BFF got engaged!!!!!!! IM SO EXCITED FOR HER! These next couple of years are going to be soooo amazing. I cant wait for the journey to begin! <3<3

I can't believe tomorrow is the day! I am finally going to be leaving tomorrow to see my fam for the week! <3 I'm sad that I will be missing Joshua with our first T-day as a married couple, BUT we will both be surrounded by our families to help keep us company :)
Bad news-we found a scorpion in our house on Sunday! Blech! lol but the exterminator came today to spray! So that's great news! Dang the neighbors for digging up their backyard!! We need to send in the info to the HOA to replace our grass with rock-we got yet another letter from them yesterday, and oh joyous-this one was for $100........ I'm starting to get really upset with all of this. Well not really starting.... But continuing! I really want to say some selective words to them...
Anyways-I need to leave for the day to go home and pack, so I'm out! :)

I kind of feel rediculace(sp)---but i found all of my old Cd's, which do include the first two Britney spears ones, nikelback etc. And the only way you can go about listening to them is with the windows down and the volume all the way up! haha And if you have ever seen me in the car-I totally get into all of it! The dancing, the singing. Its all there. Sometimes i even use an object and pretend its a microphone. lol All in all, yesterday was a pretty good day! :) And today is my besties birthday! I'm soooo excited to give her her present. I know she will love it too! Yay! happy Tuesday all-I hope today is a wonderful day for all of you :)

And now my countdown is 9 days (including today)!

This weekend was pretty awesome! For one-my mother has officially begun to foster :) I think the whole fostering thing is an amazing thing to do. I know quite a few people who do it, and every time i think of them my heart just gets a little bit bigger! I love all of them for opening their hearts and their homes and taking troubled kids in-whether they decided to be troubled or not. Also I spent most of Friday with my little cousin Cory-and we had a blast! Then to finish that day off-I am an awesome wife and I gave josh his Christmas present early... Can y'all guess what it is? ha ha MW3. lol he is a happy camper right now :D And then on Sunday we had our softball championship's and we did AWESOME! We beat the first team, who had an undefeated season-but then came back for our second game and didn't come out on top :/ But we played great! And so did all of the other teams :) Just had a good time out there playing a sport we love! And now we get back to Monday-back to the grind. Hope you have an awesome week ahead of you planned! Next week is Thanksgiving, and i get the best present ever! I get to go visit my family who has lived in Northern Cali for a year and a half now. So I'm super stoked to get to see them again this year! <3 Aren't they beautiful? I love my little sisters soooo much! :)

Due to me being very forgettful, and also quite busy-I havent updated this thing in a while! Well here it is in a nutshell!

Dalmations, plus my three! My dogs and I were enjoying the company of 101 Dalmations & 102 Dalmations! lol They loved it! Maybe almost as much as I did :) Thank you ABC Family for the little marathon!

The countdown continues!

So in exactly 6 weeks-I will be in the small town of Fairfield, CA! I'm sooo excited to see my family! I miss them tons already! We're keeping it as a surprise for the girls, so I'm going to be home when they get home from school! Yay!

 PS. Tomorrow is my husbands Birthday! <3

Oblivious...

Today I looking on a friends blog and Josh goes "What are you doing?" I said "I'm looking at a blog." He then goes to arent you supposed to be working? Why would i be sitting on the couch working mister..... lol But then he goes, "Do we have a blog?" Bahahahah such a typical man! I swear it. But I showed it to him, and I wanted to change some of the things, and I asked him for an opinion. This or that? He then replied "I honestly didnt see any difference at all." And let me tell you, it was size 60 and dead center of the screen.... I dont know how he missed it... :)
PS. I love pictures, so I have decided that there will be at least ONE picture to each post. Even if it doesnt have anythign to do with that said post. :) This is on my best friends mommy's 50th birthday party of Katrina, Bridgette & I. Love these girls!

Tis the season!

The weather is awesome right now! Too bad by Friday it's going to be back to TOO FREAKING HOT OUTSIDE, Arizona. lol But I'm really glad that this weekend was the weekend it was nice outside. Our youngest pup' decided she wanted to become Evil Kaneval by jumping out of the car window! We werent going that fast, because we were just pulling out of a parking spot at the park-BUT she gave us a fright! She managed to get hit by the wheel. She has some pretty cuts on the right side of her face and on her left arm. She had some pretty good pain going on in her jaw-it was so sad seeing her not able to yawn. But the doc's gave her some pain meds-some antibiotic meds-and we have to clean twice a day, and then apply some healing creams twice daily as well. She's stuck in the cone of shame for a week too-just to make sure she isnt scratching too much or licking. My poor little baby! :( But good news for the weather, because she couldnt make it through the doggie door with her COS-so we had to leave the back door open just for her!

But on a good note, Josh had his first diagnosing test for his back, and he passed! YAY! He needs to pass tomorrows appointment as well to be able to move on to the actual process of the denerving process-but were pretty optomistic because we've been going to this doc for a while now, so he knows whats going on and where he's hurting! So that exciting!

That cooking bug.....Well it bit me!

So yesterday I decided that I wanted to cook more often, especially because I have this RAD crock pot! And those meals are super easy cause you just throw it in and eat a couple hours later! lol
So last night I threw some pork chops into the bottom, covered them in BBQ sauce, and then chopped up potatoes and covered them in BBQ sauce as well. I kind of made this one up by myself with the pot's but i thought that maybe they would just suck up the juice and be AWESOME! As it turned out, it was pretty good. First meal=SUCCESS! :)

A rough start to a Monday!

Josh is having a pretty rough time at the moment. His back is killing him. Im pretty sure he has spraigned his knee. He's over worked at work. (6 hours of mandatory overtime) He isnt sleeping well. And he's is taking it out on me! lol Lucky wife this girl! I hope he can just take a breather. He is doing a new procedure on his back. There goign to go in and burn the nerves that tell his brain that his back hurts. And the diagnosis part to it is this Friday and they dont give you any sedative because they need to find the exact location of where it is. :/ They said its going to be super duper painful. And then when he requested the time off from work, there were already a ton of people taking it off, so its going to go against his attendance. Awesome. I feel bad for him. I wish i could take some of his stress off and just burden it for him. Because I am natural at it! It does run in my genes. :) Anyways, I just wish he will have a better week this week. And since he is prone to migrains---i hope he doesnt get one this week. Your not allowed to take anything for the 7 days prior.... :/ Wish me luck!

Excited to start saving....

Well it WOULD be awesome if I could say we are going to start saving the world, one recycle can at a time! BUT--- we already recycle! lol Anywho's! We are starting that budget from Dave Ramsey tomorrow! Start the month off right! Go October! And lets wish my husband lots of luck because he is already saying its going to be super hard for him! lol
Along with that, tomorrow I have a craft date with the bestie! I need to make those picture frames (which one of them has to be done by SUNDAY! So i need to bust out!) for our cousin's baby showers! Its going to be super fun! And then we have a retirement party to attend to! And then if we can swing it-we have a birthday party at Skateland! Which i think would be awesome to attend, but it depends on this party! Then on Sunday I have the Baby shower ^^^ Ahhh!!! I cant believe Melissa is sooo close to being a mommy! Two weeks away! Yay! Then we have Softball to finish off the evening! :)
Oh and a big surprise? Josh's parents are coming into town today, and our house is a DISASTER! EEK! So we are going to be busting butt to get that situated too!
Alright back to work so i can go home and stress out!

Oh happy days!

This week has been pretty awesome! On Monday, Joshua and I have been married for a whole six months! I know it doesnt seem like that long, especially because almost everyone asked "That's it?" lol But even though its only been six months, we have been togehter for 3.75 years, AND we have known eachother almost a decade! lol

Another note, as of yesterday, we have owned this house for two years!!! Whoop whoop!

Now whats going to happen tomorrow to finish it off as a great week?! :)

Holy Macaroni Wheels....

I'm so sick of how my job is changing right now... :/
Here's the back story---I work for this tiny little company (but we are pretty awesome anyways) and when i say tiny, that's exactly what i mean. We have a total of 15 employee's. But since we hired this new guy (who happens to be my CEO's boyfriend.......?) Its just been irritating. The best thing about this job is that it was super flexible because like half of us are going to school, but now we have to tell them our every move. We used to be able to leave when we got our work done, but now we have to sit here and wait out until every single one of the department is done. We used to be able to just have a good time, but now they have a very serious time frame of only 15 minutes of being able to talk to each other. On Friday i moved into my coworkers room, because hello? We were the only ones in the office until 10 AM! That's right.... That's how this place rolls. So i sat in there and it was all fine. But when the big boss came back on Monday he yelled at my boss and told her to make me move. As long as I'm getting my fricking work done, isn't that what should matter? I don't like complaining about this to Josh, but i am about to POP! UUUUGGGGGHHHHH..... I'm just soooo frustrated right now! Like you cant give us a 50' leash and then decide to cut it only 5'! That's not how it works! Oh and another thing he decided to change? We don't get raises anymore.... we only get cost of living. Which means for my three years, i got a whole whopping 20 cents.... Sadly, that was less then when i got my 6 month raise at Wendy's..... :|

On a better side note, I am totally addicted to Pinterest! LOL

Till we meet again...

I know that its only been two months since I have seen my family last, but I am SO darn excited to get to see them again! So the countdown begins.... <3

But until then, I need to put together that photo thing I am doing for my mom!

These two girls are soooo awesome! And there pretty photogetic too! I can't wait to see them! Im sooo sad that I'm missing some of the most important years of thier lives! :( But I know that they know I'm here for them whenever they need me! So again, only 8 weeks and 2 days!!!!!

Its been a while....

Iv'e been horrible at keeping this thing up to date! But can you believe that next week Joshua and I will have been married for 6 months?! Crazy!! Where has the time gone!
Been keeping busy-work is crazy! There still trying to bring in new companies, but we dont really have the billers for it. lol And Joshua's work just bumped up BRAT to 6 hours a week. Thats almost a whole extra day! I feel bad for the kid. Hopefully he doesnt burn out too quickly. They are just crazy busy, dragging over 20k scripts into the next day when it should be closer to only being 5k!
My God Daughter is three months old now! Wow! And she is a little chubbers. lol The doctor actually made her go on a diet. :) She's so vocal now its amazing <3 I love that little munchkin!
We just started up softball again! We lost yesterdays game, but thats ok. The team we played was pretty good! We just need to work on our batting. I kept hitting them right into the outfielders glove.... grrrr! I wish they would just put someone out there that can't catch ;) That would be awesome!
Anyways, I need to get back to work so I will update later on! <3

Dreams into a story!

I think I'm onto something! I had another bizarre dream (and if you know me, you know that that is actually not that strange at all) and I'm writing it down into a story. I'm going to see where this will take me at this point. BUT I think its going pretty good so far :) Maybe if I get brave enough, I will post some of it on here. We will see about that one. :)
Its kind of a comedy/suspense. It will be tricky to pull that off and put it all together.... But if its possible, im going to find a way!

Complete and Utter Dissapointment...

It always comes down to that point in life where you wonder why you are getting punished accordingly??? Why am I the only one getting yelled at, when they knew exactly what was going on? Why don't they look in the mirror and see that they should have been doing their job too?  BAH! That's what I say to that. Its been a very difficult week, but I'm hoping that the rest of it looks up, and rather high up from what I've been dealing with!
Secondly-I need to teach myself that PEOPLE DON'T CHANGE! hahahaha You see them trying to be a better person, but in the end, they end up just falling and falling right back into the old, original person you don't want them to be! So I need to drop the whole 'nieve' part of me that assumes people will change. The End! :)

There is a first for everything....

I got my first speeding ticket this morning, less than a mile from the house! And lets not start with the fact that it was a bad day to begin with:
Woke up to the clock saying it was half an hour (5:30) after we should have left for work.
Then left trying to catch up some time to be not horribly late, to being pulled over by the sherrif!
But he knocked it down to only being 10 miles over the speed limit.
So thats nice at least!

And now onto the rest of the week--Hopefully not following in the wonderous Monday Morning Events! <3

A Friends night out!

I decided I wanted to hang out with my best friends in the whole world-and whats not better to do than to go Bowling?!? It took a lot of text's and some persuasion to make them all go, but we all managed to pile up into Joshua's car and head to the closest bowling alley. It was a fun night!
